‘The aim of this choir is to use all we learnt during our time in the amazing choir at Trinity to bring amazing choral experiences to Melbourne,' chorister Thomas Bland (TC 2009) said.

'We are under the patronage of ex-Trinity Chaplain, Andreas Loewe and ex-Trinity Director of Music, Michael Leighton Jones. The Trinity connections abound.'

The new choir includes both Trinity alumni and non-Trinity singers.

Along with several other Polyphonic Voices singers, Thomas was a member of the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Choir for 4 years whilst living in residential College.

Fittingly, Polyphonic Voices will perform their first concert, Songs of Farewell, on 16 May at the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Chapel. The concert will commemorate 100 years since the beginning of World War I (particularly appropriate given the chapel is a memorial for the lives that were lost during this time).
